Maybe you'd guessed, these are wires crossing a street or a canal in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It can be electrical, internet or telephone wires, I don't know exactly. Either way, they fascinated me. The original full frame picture also had the building in the bottom of the composition but I had to let that go to make it more minimalistic, just the dancing wires. Some of them overlap and lean on each other. The lines could just as well be scratches on a piece of paper, but they're not.
