In the middle of Stone Town (Zanzibar, Tanzania) this enormous satellite dish is mounted on a building. We noticed it when we were having coffee on the rooftop of a hotel. When we finally located the construction it was hard to take an interesting picture of it. Near a parking lot I noticed a couple of palm trees which showed the same line play as the dish and complemented the industrial construction. Now it looks like a secret telecommunication device from the Thunderbirds television series of the sixties.
