This photo was taken at the “Landschaftspark” near Duisburg-Nord during a trip with my daughters. The blast furnace complex is old industrial heritage and still completely accessible.
The diagonal lines due to the perspective and stairs give the picture a chaotic atmosphere but the overall dark colour brings peace back into the image. As if you can feel this industrial dinosaur has been dead for over 35 years.
